BOTF All in One installer (Released ) - Birth of the Federation
If there is an item you wish to have on GOG. Yeah as good as star trek armada 1. Would be happy if you make it possible. They already did Masters of Orion, same basic engine I would love to see this at GOG. Still have memories of playing the Great Ferengi Alliance.
I would buy it in a heartbeat. I would still love to see it in the GOG list to play. So far still nothing new about this game. It would be so great to have this game remastered and sold. This game brings me good memories and would like to see it added to the list of available Star Trek games on GOG.
Just adding my voice to the "yes, please bring this to GOG" chorus. I lost my saved game on floppy disk a while back I was at something like turn number ; half the galaxy was Klingon and the other half was Federation me I actually still have my original copy of this game. However, it is a pain to be only able to play it on an old computer. Please remaster and bring this back.
I will totally buy it. I've misplaced my old CD but loved to waste hours on this game. Even played it on MS's early multiplayer website. RSA team! I had sooo many LAN-parties with this back at university.
Bring it back. It deserves it. Good folks at GOG, what's the hold up on this? There's a massive Trek fanbase wanting to play this game. Spent hours on this game I would love to see it released with mod support as well. Would love to play a re-release of the best Star Trek game to ever exist! It was made in Beverly, Massachusetts and the dev team was lead by Bill Chinn. WE WON! I would love to see this game work on Windows Wasted many hours, days and weeks playing just one game.
Would be great to see this along the other Star Trek games already brought back. OMG yes please! Me and my brothers attempted to play this game multiplayer for YEARS and could never finish a single game due to the game eventually crashing And the saves never worked. After a while the game started to get really laggy and delayed and we'd know it would crash but we loved it so much we constantly kept starting over yet have to this day never finished a single multiplayer game.
Spent easily thousands of hours playing this game. It's still one of the best 4X games out there. I just tried to load up my copy, and it doesn't quite run right on windows 10, unless I want to play in a few pixels on my screen.

I have the original disc but current versions of windows aren't so kind when getting this to run. Maybe the recent Star Trek additions can signify more to come, here's hoping. Please take me back to my nostalgia filled childhood spending HOURS per turn micro-managing my empire exploring the galaxy and building my fleets. I grew up on it and played it so much that I wore out 2 different game disks and then my vintage PC died and couldn't never get the game to work on any of my modern PC's.
There is a second board on this. Don't know how they decide what games but would a unified board help? I would also like to submit a wish for Star Trek Birth of the Federation, this was one of my favorite games on old systems, and I played it until the last computer it worked on died. I want BotF!! One solution is to have two computers, one with Windows 10 and one with Windows 7 or Windows XP for the good, old games. When Microsoft stops supporting Windows 7 with security updates, that's exactly what Im' gonna do.
